Autumn greetings to you from Titus and the Board of Hope
Rising for India!
We recently held a Board meeting in which the celebrations
of impact were many. It brought joy to our hearts as we continue to be amazed
over the transformed lives in this day-to-day work of Hope Rising. The
grassroots equipping and empowerment of this organization is tremendous and you
are making that possible!
An organization called Hope for Today, recognized the local
impact of Titus and team and decided to generously partner together with a gift
of $12,000 for a new Soy Bean machine. This will allow for soy-milk production
for all of the health and nutrition programs that we are leading. Hope for
Today is providing the machine, training the operators and paying the salaries,
and providing the raw beans. Hope Rising for India will pay for the electric
and host the daily program. A win-win for those most in need.
A local pastor in the neighboring areas outside of Nellore,
approached Pastor Titus for a new church partnership. This means we will be
rehabbing and dedicating three new church locations which brings our outreach
locations to sixteen. Another wonderful multiplication of hope and grace
amongst the people. With sixteen churches in partnership, new song books and
worship resources are being created for each location. Monthly gatherings and
trainings among the pastors network continues to provide great blessings.
Local government officials recently recognized the work of
Hope Rising and gave a community service award for the outstanding care and
compassion that we are displaying through our programs. These inroads of
partnership for the most vulnerable in society take time and trust to develop,
and with each passing month those pathways are being enlarged. Our hope are
that through acts of deepening generosity that we can expand our health, food,
and education programs to orphan needs and single parent homes.
Titus and team are also working to create a new website for
their local India context. As the word spreads of this transformational work,
it will be another added equipping and teaching tool that is most needed.
Looking ahead to February 2024, we are hopeful to host Titus
in a multi-state tour stop. True accompaniment of walking hand in hand together
is our strength. Be praying for that added blessed and be stirring about the
possibility of a transformational travel trip to India in November of 2024.
